Yellowknife Motors is a locally owned and operated Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership serving customers across Northern Canada. We offer new and pre‑owned vehicle sales, financing, parts, and service, and we take pride in delivering outstanding customer care and dependable support to our community.

As the Senior Accountant, you will support the financial operations of the dealership and help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of accounting and reporting processes.

• Complete and review account reconciliations, including bank, inventory, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Review accounting transactions across sales, service, parts, and finance operations
• Monitor receivables, payables, incentives, and other key accounting balances
• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance processes
• Assist with cash management and financial reporting improvements
• Work closely with the Controller to provide accurate financial information and analysis
• Help improve accounting workflows, systems, and reporting processes
• Support and mentor junior accounting or administrative team members as needed

• Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Actively pursuing CPA designation is preferred
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Experience in automotive or dealership accounting is an asset
• Experience with dealer management systems such as CDK or Quorum is an asset
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Pay: $67,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
