NWT Financial Reporting Analyst

Position: Housing NWT Financial Reporting Analyst
Take on a vital role as a Financial Reporting and Accounting Analyst at Housing NWT. Assist in ensuring accurate financial statements and effective audits across Local Housing Organizations.

This Analyst position involves collaboration with five District controllers and 24 Local Housing Organizations to uphold financial integrity. You'll assist in the annual audits and support the preparation of key financial reports that inform decision-making for housing programs. Strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with Case Ware are crucial to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in the preparation of the NWTHC Annual Report

• Coordinate annual audits in collaboration with external auditors

• Analyze accounts and loans receivable as needed

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Contribute to the reliability of NWTHC reporting systems

Requirements:

• Completion of a Commerce/Business degree focused on Accounting

• Actively pursuing CPA designation with advanced standing

• Three years of progressive financial reporting experience

• Experience with Case Ware and Case View software

• Strong skills in Excel and effective communication
