Project Manager for Civil Construction Projects

Parsons is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale Civil Construction and Remediation projects in Yellowknife, NWT. Ensure project success by managing every phase from design to execution.

As a key player, your role involves overseeing budgets, shaping scopes of work, and managing subcontractor performance for the Giant Mine Remediation Project. Your extensive background in construction management will be critical in achieving project milestones and adhering to safety standards while coordinating with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage project from completion of design to closeout

• Create detailed scopes of work and conduct pre-bid activities

• Manage compliance with change orders and regulations

• Communicate with construction teams and stakeholders effectively

• Track project deliverables including quality and safety compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field

• Over 12 years in project and construction management

• 5+ years in heavy civil or northern mining

• Knowledge of project regulations and current technologies

• Experience with issue resolution and contractor management
