Our Keskorie Boarding Home is cultural oriented with a friendly work environment that houses people from all over the Territory.
What You Will Do
Under the supervision and direction of the Front Desk Supervisor, the Receptionist is a key team member of the Keskorie Boarding Home who will be instrumental in providing a warm welcome ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Indigenous clients by providing culturally sensitive support and assistance throughout their stay at Keskorie Boarding Home. Scheduled shift hours will be 12:00 am to 8:00 am, Wednesday to Sunday .
A Day In The Life
Greet guest upon arrival at the facility, ensure a positive and welcoming experience
Answering telephones, referring calls or taking messages
Assigning patients and/or escorts rooms
Coordinate with Shuttle Drivers to facilitate clients’ daily pickups, drop-offs and deliveries of patients’ prescriptions
Helping to arrange travel with relevant agencies
Front office duties such as data entry and filing
Other duties assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor
Job Requirements
Updated Immunization Record
Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
What You Bring
Knowledge of MS Office Suite and some data entry experience an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients
Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to take training immediately
WHMIS Certificate
Self-motivated and trustworthy
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures
