Receptionist. Our Keskorie Boarding Home is cultural oriented with a friendly work environment that houses people from all over the Territory.
Under the supervision and direction of the Front Desk Supervisor, the Receptionist is a key team member of the Keskorie Boarding Home who will be instrumental in providing a warm welcome ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Indigenous clients by providing culturally sensitive support and assistance throughout their stay at Keskorie Boarding Home.
Scheduled shift hours will be 12:00 am to 8:00 am, Wednesday to Sunday
.
- Greet guest upon arrival at the facility, ensure a positive and welcoming experience
- Answering telephones, referring calls or taking messages
- Assigning patients and/or escorts rooms
- Coordinate with Shuttle Drivers to facilitate clients’ daily pickups, drop-offs and deliveries of patients’ prescriptions
- Helping to arrange travel with relevant agencies
- Front office duties such as data entry and filing
- Other duties assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor
- Updated Immunization Record
- Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and some data entry experience an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients
- Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate or willing to take training immediately
- WHMIS Certificate
- Self-motivated and trustworthy
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures
