This temporary position offers 40 hours per week for approximately 6 months, providing a solid foundation for future career advancement, including potential Powerline Technician apprenticeship opportunities. Candidates should have a strong interest in electrical utility work, construction, and trades. You’ll be part of a professional crew committed to safety and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with construction and maintenance of powerlines

• Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely

• Set up, organize, and clean work sites

• Support safe work procedures consistently

• Work effectively with crew members and the public

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, CAEC, or GED

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Ability to work at heights

• Perform physically active work in outdoor conditions

• Meet academic requirements for Alberta PLT Apprenticeship
