The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.
The Ultra Mechanical Engineering function is responsible for the design, development, test, and documentation of mechanical assemblies for products, which includes new development, change orders, process improvements, and documentation. It supports designs throughout the concept, development and production stages of the system life cycle.
A professional at this grade possesses knowledge for specific fields and performs structured work assignments. Uses established procedures to solve problems by making judgments and gets work done with quality under moderate supervision
The Mechanical Engineer will play a role in a multi-disciplinary project team developing new and innovative solutions for the Royal Canadian Navy and its partners in the Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) domain.
