This position, reporting to the Manager of Strategic Planning, Integration & GIS, provides a unique opportunity to work with the City’s Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS). You will be responsible for maintaining GIS databases, developing applications, and integrating spatial data across various city systems to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the City’s GIS by managing complex projects
• Develop and maintain GIS databases and applications
• Coordinate integration of spatial data with other software
• Implement automation solutions, including Python scripts
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and FME for data processing
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in Geography, GIS, or related disciplines
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in GIS
• Expertise in enterprise systems and database management
• Experience with automation in Python and web GIS
• Certification in related GIS technologies preferred
