Environmental Project Support Specialist

As a Technical Specialist, UXO, you will support DCC and National Defence's environmental programs. This role emphasizes project delivery and requires strong analytical and management skills.

The selected candidate will manage medium-complexity projects, assist with contract coordination, and track project progress. You will also conduct field work related to unexploded ordnance, ensuring quality and compliance with corporate standards. Regular travel to project sites will be part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage environmental programs and projects

• Review and analyze technical reports from consultants

• Determine methodologies for resolving complex environmental issues

• Conduct site reconnaissance and quality assurance activities

• Foster productive relationships with stakeholders

Requirements:

• College diploma in science or engineering with four years of experience

• Preferred: degree in relevant field or specialized UXO training

• Proficiency in applicable software systems

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills

• Ability to advise and guide team members effectively
