Position: Full-Time Water Treatment Trainee Role
Join Blu Metric as a full-time Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee, where you'll gain practical experience in water treatment processes. Collaborate with expert operators on critical environmental projects in Yellowknife.

This training position allows you to learn essential skills while ensuring compliance with federal and municipal standards. Engage in operational monitoring, equipment testing, and communication with management to enhance treatment efficiency and sustainability. Ideal for motivated candidates wanting exposure to the water treatment field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate treatment control systems effectively

• Maintain operation records and monitoring sheets

• Perform regular checks on filtration and clarification equipment

• Test effluent samples for compliance with quality standards

• Report operational statuses to supervisors and relevant parties

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in water treatment or similar roles desirable

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean record

• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Post-secondary education in a related area preferred

• Experience on mine sites is considered advantageous
