Environmental​/Administration Internship

Position: Environmental/Administration Internship AECOM
Start your journey in environmental science as an Environmental/Administration Intern with AECOM in Yellowknife. This six-month role commencing in May 2026 will immerse you in field investigations and data analysis.

In this internship, you will support various environmental field investigations. Expect to engage in sampling activities including soil and surface water, alongside working under physically demanding conditions, possibly on weekends. You'll contribute to developing health and safety plans and help assess field data for technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in environmental field investigations and sampling tasks

• Operate aircraft, boats, and all-terrain vehicles as needed

• Compile and report on field investigation data

• Contribute to the creation of work and safety plans

• Support ongoing municipal project tasks

Requirements:

• Completion or ongoing study in a relevant program

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in remote site logistics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Valid Drivers’ License
