This is an exciting role for those passionate about mine engineering. As an Engineer in Training, you will rotate through various engineering functions, gaining exposure to planning, scheduling, and operational improvements. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers while supporting safe, low-cost mining operations in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning and design of underground operations
• Support scheduling and coordination of engineering tasks
• Contribute to water management and operational safety
• Provide technical support during departmental rotations
• Perform additional duties to assist operational needs
Requirements:
• 1–3 years in underground mining operations
• Sc. in Mine Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Eligible for EIT registration with a Professional Engineering Organization
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience with mine planning software is an asset
