Stantec seeks a skilled Transportation Engineer to support vital projects across Northern Canada. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in roadway design and community infrastructure planning to enhance transportation systems. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while applying innovative engineering practices to address the unique challenges of cold-region environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering designs for urban and rural transportation projects
• Support planning of major transportation corridors across northern regions
• Incorporate northern design considerations in project planning
• Stay updated on transportation engineering methods and technologies
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on project execution
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 6 years in highway/roadway design
• Professional Engineer designation preferred
• Experience with remote or cold-region projects
• Proficient in CADD technologies like Micro Station
