- Early Learning (virtual and in person community travel)

Continuum North is looking for registered occupational therapists (OTs) to join our clinical team serving children and families.

Continuum North is located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, the traditional territory of the Yellow knives Dene and North Slave Métis. Services are provided by our team across the territories on Dene, Inuvialuit, Inuit and Gwich’in lands (in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut).

Continuum North works within a collaborative model including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, nursing, counselling, physiotherapists, educators, and specialized interventionists (ex. deaf and hard of hearing educator). We serve children, families, schools, communities, and governments.

This is a hybrid travel / virtual position, with travel to northern communities central to the role. Travel from other jurisdictions may be supported depending on location / employment agreement.

• Physically carry out the duties of the position. For example, travel on small planes, walking on varied terrain.
• Understanding of inclusive schooling and tiered model of service (i.e., MTSS/RTI)
• Experience working with children in preschool/ early learning settings

This is a hybrid position featuring a combination of Northern travel and virtual services (from your home location. Our team members are located throughout Canada).

Registered as an Occupational Therapist with a provincial college in Canada
