In this position, you'll report to the Manager of Strategic Planning and contribute to the City’s GIS infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing GIS databases, supporting enterprise systems, and integrating spatial data applications. This is an exciting chance to impact local governance positively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support GIS initiatives and technical projects
• Manage and develop GIS databases and applications
• Integrate GIS data with corporate systems and software
• Coordinate GIS infrastructure across the City’s applications
• Develop reports and automate processes using Python
Requirements:
• Relevant university degree or diploma in GIS or related fields
• At least five years of experience in GIS project management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database management
• Familiarity with FME software and GIS data integration
• Proven skills in web-based GIS application development
