Position: AVENS Maintenance Assistant Role
Become a Maintenance Assistant at AVENS and help maintain a comfortable environment for seniors. This role involves hands-on labor, repairs, and significant teamwork.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll support the Maintenance Supervisor by tackling general maintenance duties across various facilities including Aven Manor and Aven Cottages. Responsibilities encompass landscaping, painting, and safety checks, allowing you to make a difference every day. Indicate your preference for part-time or full-time employment during your application for flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in general labour and various repairs

• Engage in landscaping and outdoor maintenance

• Perform equipment checks to ensure functionality

• Manage preventative maintenance tasks

• Operate independently, ensuring quality work

Requirements:

• Training in plumbing, mechanical, or electrical fields

• Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs

• Willingness to work outside in diverse weather

• Completion of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check

• Equivalent experience or education may be accepted
