Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician at Canadian Niagara Hotels

Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, your role as a Maintenance Utility team member will involve performing repairs, conducting pool water testing, and ensuring public spaces are clean and operational. You will assist with preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety training and adhere to safety protocols

• Execute guestroom repairs such as caulking and plumbing

• Keep public and backstage areas well-maintained

• Test pool water quality and document results

• Carry out mechanical rounds as required

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Life Safety codes and regulations

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays

• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs

• Comfortable in hot and humid settings

• Commitment to confidentiality and asset protection
