Full-Time Maintenance Assistant Needed

Join AVENS as a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant, dedicated to enhancing seniors' daily lives through maintenance and repair work.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Assistant is vital in performing general maintenance, including repairs and landscaping in Aven Manor and Aven Cottages. Candidates should indicate if they prefer part-time or full-time work to accommodate their needs while contributing effectively. Your ability to work independently will be key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support general maintenance and perform repairs

• Execute painting and landscaping duties

• Carry out routine equipment inspections

• Handle preventative maintenance responsibilities

• Work independently while ensuring safety standards

Requirements:

• Relevant education or training in maintenance aspects

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors

• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

• Equivalency in experience can be considered
