Water Operator

Position: Full-Time Water Operator at BluMetric
Join Blu Metric as a full-time Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, managing critical treatment processes in Yellowknife. Ensure proper treatment and compliance with key regulations.

In this role, you will operate and monitor complex systems essential for environmental stewardship. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment and processes, conducting regular checks, and ensuring treated water meets specified standards. Effective communication with team members and upper management will be crucial in executing operational strategies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water filtering and chemical processes

• Complete required daily operational visibility sheets

• Conduct sample collection and testing for compliance

• Ensure accurate operation of clarification and filtration systems

• Collaborate on operational improvements with management

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant water treatment experience

• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred

• Experience in mine-site operations is an asset

• Ability and willingness to work shifts, including weekends

• Must possess a valid driver's license
