As a Composite Repair Technician, you will report directly to the Supervisor, Manufacturing. Your main duties will involve using hand and pneumatic tools for surface preparation and sanding. You will also learn important bagging techniques to ensure effective wet lay-ups. This position requires you to work on rotating shifts and emphasizes attention to detail and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reinforce parts using composite materials in wet lay-up
• Measure materials accurately using metric tools
• Prepare parts for the curing process through bagging
• Ensure production orders are completed with full traceability
• Rework parts to correct any imperfections
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with small tools like sanders and drills
• Knowledge of wet lay-ups is a plus
• Understanding of quality standards in manufacturing
• Ability to follow detailed repair instructions
