Director, Nursing Quality Assurance at CANNN

Lead nursing practice standards as the Director of Quality Assurance at the College and Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut in Yellowknife. This agreement is for an impactful one-year term.

As the Director, you will ensure that nursing regulations are adhered to according to the Nursing Profession Act and CANNN policies.

Your role focuses on providing critical guidance and support surrounding nursing trends, which will serve CANNN members, employers, and the community. Your teamwork and leadership skills will contribute to the maintenance of professional nursing standards across the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure functions comply with Nursing Profession Act and bylaws

• Provide expert guidance on nursing issues to members and the public

• Collaborate with team for maintaining compliance standards

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing

• At least 3 years of experience in nursing

• Eligibility for CANNN’s active practicing license

• Strong skills in critical thinking and problem-solving

• Knowledge of contemporary nursing issues
