Position: RCCDSB Seeking Experienced Social Worker
Elevate the mental health and wellness of students at RCCDSB as a full-time Social Worker. This impactful role focuses on direct counseling and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

As a vital part of the RCCDSB, the Social Worker will supervise attendance counselors and engage in direct counseling services for students. You will be responsible for assessing individual needs, supporting staff, and implementing programs aimed at enhancing student well-being. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling to students in schools

• Supervise and support counseling staff

• Collaborate with community partners for student support

• Implement programs that benefit student wellness

• Participate in school meetings and presentations

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work is essential

• 3+ years of experience with youth counseling

• Familiarity with CBT and solution-focused techniques

• Proven interpersonal and leadership skills

• Valid Driver's License and vehicle access
