Community Engagement Supervisor NTHSSA

Take charge as the Community Engagement Supervisor for the Healthy Family Program under the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority. Your mission is to strengthen family support initiatives tailored for children aged zero to six in the Yellowknife area.

This position is pivotal for developing a culturally responsive outreach program. You will lead a team to implement innovative family support strategies while working closely with local health authorities and community partners.

Your role includes supervising staff and maintaining the quality of family engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate inter-agency collaboration for health services

• Engage with community partners for effective program delivery

• Supervise and mentor direct service staff continuously

• Oversee outreach and family support programming

• Conduct administrative and data reporting tasks

Requirements:

• Human services diploma or certificate preferred

• One year of supervisory experience desired

• Two years working with families with children aged 0-6

• Equivalent education and experience considered

• Fluent in culturally appropriate community engagement practices
