Join Us! Our team is looking for Shipping Material Handlers for our Distribution Center located at 745 Intermodal Drive, Brampton, Ontario, L6T 5W2. Shift TimeNight Sift (9:00 pm to 5:30 am)
What we have to offer- $24.79/hour to start - $26.17/hour after 6 months - $27.55/ hour after 1 year
- Annual Increases based on Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Part Time Position, varying hours may apply
- Availability to work 8 to 24 hours per week.
- Must be flexible to work any days between Monday to Friday.
- Place various products into designated storage areas.
- Pick orders using the scanning system and stage loads.
- Maintain inventory.
- Load/unload trailers and containers as required.
- Operate reach truck, rider and dock stocker– MHE training required.
- Maintain housekeeping.
- Perform other warehouse related duties as assigned by the Distribution Supervisor and or their Designate.
- Necessary skills for verbal and written communication in English.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to/including 50 lbs.
- Must have valid licenses and experience in Stand-up Counterbalance - Reach, Rider and Dock Stocker.
- Practical Testing to be performed prior to start.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a rapidly changing environment.
- Display a positive and proactive attitude.
- Necessary skills for working in a team environment and strong Leadership Skills.
- Work in and promote a safe environment.
