Job SummaryWe’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans in an in‑home setting and supporting their growth. Success in this position requires flexibility, collaboration, a love for learning, and the ability to create meaningful learning opportunities in dynamic settings.
Responsibilities- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with team members, including BCBAs, LABAs, other Behavior Technicians, and families.
- Engage clients in activities that are fun, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to their interests.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and document behavioral data as required.
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment with patience, encouragement, and effective communication.
- Participate in training sessions to strengthen skills and understanding of working with children with developmental needs.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with play‑based teaching and assent‑based care is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Prior experience in toddler care or classroom settings is beneficial.
- A genuine passion for empowering children to reach their full potential through individualized support.
