As a Behavior Specialist at CSD, you’ll support children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to build communication, social interaction, and daily routine skills in homes, centers, and community settings. You will follow personalized plans, bring energy, compassion, and structure to each session, and thrive in a flexible, on‑the‑go role with training and ongoing support from experienced clinical leaders.
Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct 100% of scheduled sessions; alternate with subbing sessions for other clients when needed, primarily on Saturdays.
- Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans under guidance from the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader.
- Deliver services at center, home, and community settings.
- Document sessions with thorough notes and daily treatment data.
- Communicate schedule changes, cancellations, and client concerns promptly to the clinical team.
- Participate in weekly meetings, trainings, and staff meetings as required.
- Complete additional duties assigned by regional leadership.

- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Flexible availability, especially 3–8 pm Monday‑Thursday and Saturdays.
- Complete online and in‑person new hire training.
- Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – California mandated).
- Reliable transportation.
- Sensitivity to working with a diverse population.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good judgment, decision‑making, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Knowledge of computer/word processing software.
- Visual and oral communication, reading, and computer use.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and light lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional walking, bending, reaching, and carrying of toys or materials.
- Maintain close visual attention to complete computer work (15 %).
- Occasional unloading of materials for home visits (10 %).
