School LPN; Licensed Practical Nurse Yelm, Washington

This full-time opportunity spans the entire  academic year, beginning immediately and continuing through mid-June 2027. As an on-site LPN supporting elementary school students with diabetic needs, youll travel between school locations in the Yelm area, ensuring students receive top-quality care throughout their school day.

• Active Washington State LPN license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure
• Mandatory fingerprinting through OSPI (or readiness to complete the process)
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations, especially managing diabetic care, is highly valued
• Versatility and adaptability to rotate between multiple school sites as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Reliability and commitment to consistent, in-person attendance
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment

• Provide dedicated care and monitoring for elementary-aged students with diabetes
• Perform routine health assessments, medication administration, and comprehensive diabetic management duties
• Maintain clear and confidential health records in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and administration to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Serve as a resource to school staff on health-related matters
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary
