Payroll Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Payroll Assistant to join a friendly finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with payroll experience who is looking to join a supportive business and develop their career further. You'll play a key role in supporting the payroll process while also gaining exposure to wider finance and admin duties within a busy team.

Temporary-to-permanent opportunity £12.80 - £14.00 per hour Full-time, office-based (37.5 hours per week) Supportive finance team with opportunities to develop Varied role combining payroll and accounts responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supporting the end-to-end payroll process, including timesheets, employee records and payroll administration Maintaining accurate payroll and financial records Assisting with payroll queries and ensuring employee information is kept up to date Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices Supporting bank reconciliations and general finance administration Assisting with ad-hoc accounts, payroll and admin tasks as required Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience within Payroll, Payroll Administration, Finance Administration, Accounts Assistant or a similar finance role Confident using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and data analysis Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Available to start immediately or within the next two weeks Disclaimer Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
