The Role An established organisation is seeking a professional and organised Business Services Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support within a busy office environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of business support services while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to operational teams. Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute documentation. Produce correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications. Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems. Respond to telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries in a professional manner. Coordinate communication between departments and external partners. Process purchase orders, invoices, bookings, and other administrative transactions.
Ensure documentation is maintained in line with organisational procedures and compliance requirements. Assist with the preparation of reports and management information. Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes and service delivery. Carry out general office duties to support the wider team. Person Specification Essential Requirements Previous experience in an administrative or business support role. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Professional and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Requirements
Experience of maintaining databases and records management systems.
Experience of minute-taking and report preparation. Knowledge of administrative procedures within a large organisation. Benefits Competitive salary of £26,773 per annum .
