Our 2 year Graduate Programme gives you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject matter experts, with placements across the Procurement & Supply Chain department. You will receive a competitive starting salary, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus, and may be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion. Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA) may apply subject to specific criteria.

We encourage you to spend at least four days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise learning.

During the programme, you will

• Start with an Induction into Leonardo, followed by team building activities, and a Procurement specific induction to establish scheme requirements and expectations.
• Typically rotate across 4 months in the Procurement & Supply Chain department, with the possibility of an external placement elsewhere in the business.
• Gain practical experience in a wide spectrum of procurement disciplines and develop soft skills through opportunities not available to direct-entry hires.
• Work with the Procurement Management Team and Early Careers Team to shape your training scheme, including insights into the complete Helicopter Product Life Cycle and business operation.

As a Procurement Business Graduate, you will

• Gain insight into Operational / Customer Support Procurement, Indirect Procurement & Category Sourcing & Contract management
• Be involved in sourcing events / competitions and supplier negotiations
• Frequent checking of requirements, sending tenders and RFQs to suppliers
• Appraise quotations, raise Purchase Orders (POs), and process Order Acknowledgements
• Address supplier issues, queries or amendments
• Be exposed to procurement lifecycle processes including supplier qualification and requisition validation through to PO issuance

You will work with world-leading specialists, increase your technical skills, and develop your understanding of the aerospace industry. A procurement role here will be varied and will grow throughout the scheme, with opportunities to visit supplier facilities and support initiatives and projects.

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelors or Masters in a Business-related subject.

Security Clearance

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of security controls (National Security Vetting) may apply, including eligibility for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
