We have an opportunity for an Estimator to join our Pre‑Construction team. This is a role for someone who is commercially sharp, detail‑focused, and ready to take ownership of estimating across a wide range of fire protection systems.

The Role
  • Estimate different fire protection systems from supplied CAD drawings, specifications, or equivalent documentation
  • Assist in compiling tender submissions to a high standard and on time
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to gain competitive pricing
  • Coordinate workload and manage individual deadlines, holding colleagues accountable to agreed work programmes
  • Support the sales team to maximise sales efficiency and success
  • Travel to site to carry out surveys as required
  • Develop processes and procedures to improve customer experience and department efficiency
  • Communicate with staff, customers, and the public via email and telephone
What We’re Looking For
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, calculation, and literacy skills
  • Good time management and the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Willingness to learn, act with integrity, and work as a team player
  • Confidence making outgoing calls to suppliers and clients
  • Full UK driving licence
