We are currently recruiting for a permanent Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation projects across Yeovil and the surrounding areas.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social housing refurbishment sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The works focus on renewable energy and retrofit improvements within occupied, tenanted properties.

• Manage the day-to-day running of multiple social housing sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Produce and manage RAMS, toolbox talks, and Health & Safety documentation.
• Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure excellent project delivery.

• SMSTS qualification.
• Valid First Aid certificate.
• Previous experience managing construction sites and subcontractors.
• Strong technical building knowledge.
• Experience managing multiple trades on site.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS, and toolbox talks.
• Experience with in social housing maintenance is desirable.
• Experience delivering decarbonisation or retrofit projects, including External Wall Insulation (EWI), Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), and Solar PV installations is advantageous.
