Learning Support Practitioner

We’re inviting you to join our team as aLearning Support Practitioner,working 35 hours per week, term time only, where you’ll play a pivotal role within our dedicated SENDteam.
As a key member of our team, you’ll make a lasting impact by supporting students one-on-one, helping them reach their full potential. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators to create a supportive environment where students thrive academically and personally. Building strong relationships with staff, parents, and carers, you’ll drive the “fitness to study” process and implement strategies that promote student success. Acting as a liaison, you’llempower students to develop essential life skills like time management, organisation, communication, budgeting, and decision-making.

- A strong interest working with young people with additional needs.
- Level 2 English or Maths [or equivalent] or willingness to achieve.
- Level 3 award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities or willingness to work towards.
- A great communicator who can engage with the students.
- Compassionate and respectful of the learner’s needs.
- A passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning.
- Annual Salary: £18,862[FTE £24,522]
- Part-time position, 35 hours per week, term time only.
