SENDCOAre you passionate about helping young people overcome learning barriers and thrive in the classroom? We are seeking an empathetic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with diverse educational needs.
Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group learning strategies aligned with individual pupil profiles (including SEND and SEMH needs).Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to manage pupil progress, classroom behavior, and learning resources.
Foster an inclusive environment that builds pupil independence, self-esteem, and social engagement.
Provide basic administrative support and assist with First Aid (training provided).Uphold strict safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.
What We Are Looking For Essential:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or Level 2 equivalent) with strong passes in Maths and English.
Desirable:
Level 3/A-Level qualifications, 1+ years of experience working with young people, and prior school/SEND experience.

Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting youth.
