Yeovil College   is looking for an ambitious   Curriculum Leader for Hair and Beauty   to take the next step in their career and play a key role in  shaping the future of the curriculum   .  This is an exciting opportunity to provide    operational leadership   across    Hair and Beauty ,   supporting staff,     developing   provision    and ensuring students receive an     outstanding     experience    that prepares them for successful careers in the industry.
You'll   combine teaching with leadership    , taking responsibility for the quality,   performance   and    development of the curriculum area.
From leading   curriculum delivery   and  supporting your team   , to   monitoring   student outcomes, driving quality   improvement   and    developing new opportunities for growth    ,   you'll   have real scope to make your mark.
You'll   work closely with the Head of Faculty to shape the direction of      Hair   and     Beauty,     strengthen progression   pathways   and ensure the provision continues to meet the needs of students and    industry   .

What   w  e're  l  ooking   f  or:
Experience in    curriculum  or  other management    ,  with the confidence to lead and support others.

Knowledge of    vocational ,  technical and apprenticeship provision   , with recent industry experience in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy.

A relevant    Level 3 qualification   and   Level 5 teaching qualification  , alongside Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).

A strong focus on   putting learners first  , with an interest in developing teaching, learning and the student experience.

Confident using     data and insight  to     monitor   performance     ,   identify   improvements and support decision-making.

A     resilient,   approachable   and supportive leader      who can influence others, build strong   relationships   and stay focused under pressure.

What we offer:

Annual   Salary:
£    30,  966    up to £    3  9,917

Full  
-time position,    37   hours per week     , all year round  .
