Make your mark on the future of Higher Education and Adult learning. At Yeovil College, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Higher Education and Adult Learning Manager to lead our provision, enhance the learner experience and drive growth, quality and continuous improvement.

This is a role with real influence. You’ll provide operational leadership across our HE and Adult provision, ensuring learners receive an outstanding, inclusive experience from recruitment and induction through to achievement and progression. If you’re ready to make a real difference to the future of HE and Adult learning, bring your expertise to Yeovil College.

What we are looking for:
  • Experience in post-16 education, ideally within a college-based HE environment, with up-to-date knowledge of HE, FE and Adult learning.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, widening participation, safeguarding and student support.
  • Proven ability to use data and student feedback to improve attendance, retention, achievement, progression and learner outcomes.
  • Experience of leading and developing people, driving continuous improvement and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working effectively with internal teams, universities and external partners.
  • A relevant degree, diploma or equivalent qualification, Level 2 English and Maths, and strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
What we offer:
  • Annual Salary: £41,445
  • Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round
  • 30 days holiday (plus Christmas closure & bank holidays)
  • Generous pension scheme of 16.1% employer contributions
  • Staff discount scheme with high street and online retailers
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Free onsite gym
  • Subsidised catering facilities
  • Cycle to work scheme
