Aircraft Engineering Supervisors ( Mechanical and Avionics) Wildcat Summary
Location:
RNAS Yeovilton, Yeovil BA22 8HT
.
Contract:
Full‑time, Permanent. Hours per week: 38–40 with option for shift work;
Monday‑Friday schedule with additional shift pay.
This role involves aircraft management and ground support for Wildcat aircraft, ensuring compliance with customer policy, regulations, health and safety, and reporting any complaints or risks.
Administrative duties and participation in further training are required to develop skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Attained formal training in the Wildcat aircraft and associated trade systems.
- Previous experience and a good working knowledge of Wildcat Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems (by Trade).
- Knowledge of Wildcat Aircraft Servicing and Support Equipment.
- Hold a certificate of Competency at Supervisor level.
- Understanding of Lean Operating Procedures.
- Understanding of Naval Air Publications and Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (C‑IETP).
- Adherence to Health and Safety, COSHH regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices.
- Understanding of Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
- Completed or able to complete Maintenance Human Factors Course.
- Understand rotary‑wing military procedures.
- Understanding of Airworthiness Engineering Safety and Compliance in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements (MAA).
- Capable of working productively, efficiently and effectively under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining operational outputs.
- Ability to achieve SC clearance.
