Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited (BDUK) is seeking a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Engineer to support new business opportunities and existing product platforms, mainly fixed and vertical lift Boeing platforms. The role is within the Product Support Engineering Department.

• Work in a team to execute contracted R&M work.
• Provide analytical capability to transform information and data, supporting R&M decision making.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and senior stakeholders to ensure consistency across projects.
• Support and review Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
• Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report status of R&M activities.
• Perform statistical analysis on fault data to identify reliability thresholds and trends.
• Work with modelling teams and supply chain to connect R&M data to provisioning and forecasting of aircraft spares.
• Present R&M findings within UK defence customer forums and working groups.

• Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance: must be able to obtain the necessary clearance.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.
• High level of skill in reliability availability modelling calculations using industry toolsets and methodologies.
• Understanding of relationships between R&M and Design, Dependability, Safety, Integrated Product Support & Asset Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.

• Clear communicator with a can‑do attitude and drive to continually improve service quality.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and application experience of risk & reliability management systems and techniques.
• Defence background is advantageous but not essential.

This is a locally hired position in the UK; candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. The company will not sponsor immigration or labour visas.
