Asset Reliability Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will enhance the reliability and performance of essential wastewater assets across the West region. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data and site insights into practical improvements, supporting maintenance and capital investment decisions. You'll gain exposure to a specialist area within a diverse corporate group and contribute to environmental and customer service outcomes.

This is a hands-on, data-led position with real impact on critical infrastructure and operations. Pay / Benefits

• Analyse asset performance and maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support decisions on future maintenance and capital investment focus.
• Collaborate with operational, maintenance, and EM&I colleagues to address asset issues and devise solutions.
• Review failure information to reduce repeats and boost reliability.
• Assist development of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes.
• Improve asset information quality to aid decision-making.
• Visit sites to validate data-driven findings and understand performance.
• Promote a consistent asset reliability and continuous improvement approach across the region.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with data analysis and Excel.
• Mechanical or electrical understanding from work, qualifications, or technical background.
• Ability to identify patterns, investigate issues and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with diverse colleagues.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
