The successful applicant will report directly to the Senior ECS System Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Yeovil (UK) location. We offer a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced ECS and LSS solutions. Your technical expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
* Working knowledge of thermodynamic, fluid flow and control theory is required.
* Knowledge of Aircraft pneumatic systems and components is beneficial.
* Familiarity with Aerospace industry guidelines, specifications and practices is beneficial.
* Experience of analytical tools, including Matlab/Simulink, CFD, Simcenter or similar would be beneficial.
Key skills and qualifications
* Ability to communicate effectively using written, verbal and presentation skills.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications.
* Ability to carry out theoretical engineering.
* Ability to resolve problems using scientific methods.
* May interact with external customers to facilitate and support the completion of modelled analysis.
* Present project work status to Honeywell Aerospace leadership.
* Assess & analyse data to enable effective compliance to the customer and design needs.
* Propose technical improvements using engineering knowledge, principles and experience.
This position is subject to meeting the eligibility conditions of export control licenses and technical assistant agreements.
