Community Care Assistant- Evenings & Weekends

Overview

Join Nurseplus as a Homecare Assistant — make a real difference in your community every day. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care directly in clients’ homes, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs, mental health conditions, dementia, or elderly clients.

• Continuity of care with the same clients and consistent hours each week, with options for short visits or longer 12-hour shifts.
• Weekly pay and competitive rates (earn between £13.50 and £30.26 per hour; includes annual pay increases).
• Deliver compassionate care to help clients live independently and with dignity, guided by personalised care plans (including personal care, companionship, and medication administration).
• Tailored client matching to align with your skills and interests (mental health, learning disabilities, children, older adults).
• Paid, industry-leading training aligned with the Care Certificate and Core Skills Training Framework; geared to both new and experienced carers.
• Ongoing development opportunities, including in-house courses and funded qualifications (e.g., NVQ Levels 2 and
  3).

Your role is vital to improving quality of life for those you support. You will provide personal care, assist with nutrition, help with medication administration, and offer companionship. All care is delivered in accordance with each client’s individual care plan, tailored to their needs.

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence is essential; travel expenses are covered up to 45p per mile.
• Strong communication skills and a good standard of English.
• Enhanced DBS check (application available upon registration).
