We are recruiting for a Buyer, ideally (not essential) with a background in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing? Do you enjoy building strong supplier relationships, managing procurement activities, and ensuring materials are delivered on time?

We're looking for a proactive and organised Buyer to join a busy procurement team supporting a leading aerospace business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the supply chain, working with suppliers across a fast-paced engineering environment. Based in Yeovil, this role is hybrid and will be required to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week (potentially 5 days for training for a few weeks).

This is a long term temporary role.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing the procurement of machining parts and engineering components.
• Raising purchase orders against existing Long Term Agreements (LTAs).
• Creating purchase orders and processing procurement documentation through SAP.
• Sending Requests for Quotation (RFQs) against SAP requisitions.
• Issuing quotation requests for AFPs/RFQs and uploading supplier quotations into SAP.
