Job Overview

The Paragon Manager will lead, manage, develop, supervise and support all operational aspects of the Hub, ensuring excellent communication with victims/survivors of domestic abuse and other organisations.

Yeovil, Somerset

Salary: £37,395 per annum for 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Focus on the operational management, development and delivery of Paragon, follow Paragon and YOU processes, policies and procedures.

Manage and deliver 24/7 access to the service through targeted staff and volunteer deployment and an on‑call service.

Lead on the effective recruitment and induction of staff, working with others to support recruitment across the wider team.

Manage and support staff and volunteers in line with service requirements, contractual and grant fund specifications, key performance indicators and timescales.

Be responsible for ensuring that allocation of cases to all staff is prioritised on risk, including outreach, groups, drop‑ins, resettlement and refuge/crisis accommodation.

Direct staff, prepare for, and carry out internal management reviews, write reports and attend external multi‑agency meetings such as MARAC, DARDR’s and other safeguarding meetings.

Carry out regular 14‑day audits and case management reviews guided by Safe Lives and Paragon best practice, supporting staff via agreed management and HR processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Management or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent to Diploma/ Degree/NVQ 5 or equivalent work level experience.
Experience of supporting women, men and children who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse and/or sexual violence and abuse/stalking, including undertaking strengths and needs assessments including a DASH/RIC.
Experience of effective multi‑agency and partnership working (e.g. MARAC) and managing complex and demanding service functions; knowledge of safeguarding best practice, crisis accommodation, community‑based settings and MARAC.
Experience of managing, supporting, supervising, motivating and developing teams and individuals; knowledge of criminal and civil proceedings relating to SVA/DVA/Stalking.
Skilled at IT including office packages such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word and have the ability to produce reports and maintain administration systems.
