Shift Times

• 34.5 hrs/week – Sun (22:00) to Mon (07:00) (8.5 hrs)
• Mon – Thur – 00:00 to 07:00 (6.5 hrs per day)
• 37 hrs/week – Mon – Fri 07:00 to 15:30
• 36 hrs/week – 12 hrs/day, 07:00 to 19:00, Fri, Sat & Sun

Pay Rate: £18.99 – £19.54 per hour

We are currently recruiting for Indentured/Skilled workers to work on site at our clients' offices in Yeovil. The role will involve CNC Milling of aerospace equipment, in accordance with manufacturing instructions, specifications and customer/regulator requirements, working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead.

• CNC programming & machining (programming, setting and running of 3‑axis milling centres)
• OCQ – Operator Control of Quality
• Achieve on‑time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
• Interpret engineering drawings, follow process layout and documentation procedures

• Engineering apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC milling
• Knowledge of hand‑measuring equipment such as Vernier, micrometer, thread and plug gauges
• High standard of health & safety
• Adherence to company processes & procedures
• Working in a customer‑focused environment and achieving targets
• Working with designers and engineers

• Understanding of aerospace practice and the significance of safety‑critical work undertaken
• PC literate
• Adherence to health & safety standards at all times, teamwork, flexibility and initiative
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Further training will be provided: PC skills (incl. company operating systems), manual handling, 5S, HOS principles and general health & safety
