Machine Operator
Pay: £13.41 per hour (ongoing temporary position)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:45am–4:45pm;
Friday, 7:45am–12:45pm Benefits: Early Friday finish, full training and long-term career opportunities
We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an established manufacturer producing high-quality components for the aerospace and defence industries.
This is a hands‑on production role within the investment casting process. You will operate specialist equipment to create precise patterns that will eventually be transformed into finished metal components.
Key responsibilities- Setting up and operating wax injection and moulding machines
- Producing accurate wax patterns to the required specifications
- Inspecting finished patterns for defects, bubbles and deformation
- Carefully assembling and handling delicate wax components
- Monitoring wax temperatures and machine settings
- Completing basic quality and production documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following strict quality, safety and manufacturing procedures
Previous manufacturing, machine-operating or quality-inspection experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided. Most importantly, you will need:

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
