Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30am to 12.30 pm.
Available immediately
Rate £13.21 per hour.

Join Our Team

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Tig Mop Operative to join our busy mechanical production team.
No previous Tig Mopping experience is required – we'll provide full training.
This is a hands-on role where you'll remove weld marks from metal products using mild acid-based cleaning products while following safe working procedures. You'll also support the production team with assembly work when needed.

What You'll Do
Remove weld marks and discolouration from metal products using mild acid cleaning products.
Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Assemble products using hand and air tools when required.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Operate equipment safely and report any faults.
Work as part of the production team to meet customer deadlines.
Support continuous improvement by helping to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

What We're Looking For
Previous factory, production or assembly experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience using hand tools or production equipment is an advantage.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable with good timekeeping.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
A strong commitment to health and safety.

About the Role
This is an active role that involves:

Standing for long periods.
Repetitive tasks.
Manual handling
Wearing full PPE in the Tig Mop area.
Following company procedures and safe working practices at all times
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
