Mechanical Fitter

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter. Whats on offer:

Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics. Work to tight tolerances (-10 microns) Working on complex machine builds Maintenance of refurb of heavy machinery

Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage. Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment

About you:

Mechanical trained with the ability to build a component from start to finish.

Experience of multi axis precision machinery would be an advantage Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items. Good all-round mechanical fitter with a confident understanding of precision fitting.
