Car Sales Executive

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Car Sales Executive role at their well-established dealership in Yeovil, Somerset. The Car Sales Executive role is instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets through a proactive and professional approach.

Competitive basic salary of £26,000, with an OTE of up to £50,000

30 days holiday including Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service

Full-time, permanent contract – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no Sunday working

Duties for the Car Sales Executive position:

Selling new and used vehicles to a broad customer base as a Car Sales Executive
Providing exceptional customer service and cultivating long-term relationships
Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and technical features of vehicles
Managing customer enquiries efficiently via digital channels, including online and video presentations
Achieving individual and team sales targets with a customer-first focus
Supporting the dealership’s objectives through active engagement and product promotion

Requirements for the Car Sales Executive role:

Proven ability to meet and exceed personal performance and sales targets
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management abilities
Adaptable and flexible to thrive in a dynamic environment
Technical vehicle knowledge is desirable but not essential
Previous sales experience preferred, though not necessarily within the motor trade
Enthusiasm for automotive sales and delivering outstanding customer experiences
