Company Description We're Hiring:
Contract Manager!

Location: Yeovil

Salary: £47,764.00 per annum

Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–17:00 with an early finish on Fri 07:30–16:30 (42 hrs/week)

Grade: Site-Based

This Contract Manager role is a great opportunity for an experienced people manager within the Security industry to join Securitas UK, working on behalf of a global client and deliver real impact day to day. To be successful in this role, there are a couple of minimum requirements this site requires:

• SIA Licence (essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Access to a vehicle or good transport links
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience
• Must have lived in the UK for 5 years or more
• Must be a British National (Holds a British Passport or a British Birth Certificate)

What you'll be doing
:

• Managing the delivery of operational site security and front-of-house services, ensuring a first-class experience.
• Lead a large team of security officers and front-of-house staff.
• Conduct and monitor staff appraisals, encouraging development and progression.
• Oversee staff training and development, with monthly progress reporting.
• Manage rotas effectively to ensure coverage.
• Implement policies, SOPs, Assignment Instructions, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Handle incident management and response promptly and professionally.
• Safeguard people, buildings, and information assets.
• Assist with long-term strategic planning for the security function.
• Oversee the operation of security systems.
• Work cross-functionally with Property and Facilities teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis across the estate.

What We’re Looking For

• SIA Licence (essential)

• Minimum 2 years’ management experience
• Experience managing operational security delivery
• Proven ability to lead large teams (15+)
• Passion for service excellence
• Experience implementing security strategy and policies (SOPs)
• Ability to positively engage and influence senior stakeholders
• Preferred:
  Background in Security Management
• Must have lived in the UK for 5 years or more
• Must be a British National (Holds a British Passport or a British Birth Certificate)
