If you’ve worked in retail, customer service, hospitality, Care
, you already have the skills we’re looking for.

• Dealing with people
• Handling difficult situations
• Staying calm under pressure

That’s what great Security Officers do every day.

We’ll train you on everything else. Because we believe in removing the barrier when applying for a role and see the value in diverse skillsets amongst our teams.

Many of our team joined from retail, care and customer service roles. Through our development programmes, people have progressed into supervisory or training roles within 12 months, just as an example of the possibilities at Securitas.

You’ll help keep people, property and premises safe by:

• Monitoring CCTV, alarms & site access
• Carrying out security patrols
• Supporting staff, visitors & contractors
• Managing incidents & reporting concerns
• Controlling vehicle access & parking
• Issuing visitor passes & managing keys
• Delivering excellent customer service

You don’t need a security background.

If you’ve worked with people — you already have what it takes.

• Great communication & customer service skills
• Reliable, professional & proactive attitude
• Full UK driving licence
• Can do attitude and a desire to work with us
• Ability to work days, nights & weekends
• Physically fit (regular patrols included in the role)

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be able to pass BPSS & SC clearance
• Be a British National
Have lived in the UK for the past 5 years
• SIA licence holders welcome, but not essential.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance -
